Fullerton College’s Business Division invites ALL STUDENTS to participate in the Hornet’s N.E.S.T. Career Showcase 2025, a unique opportunity to explore career possibilities, enhance professional skills, and showcase their creativity.
The Hornet’s N.E.S.T. (Networking, Exploration, Skills, and Training) Career Showcase challenges students to research a career of their choice, design a professional-quality poster, and present their work during a week-long exhibit. This event not only fosters career readiness but also recognizes outstanding achievements through various awards.

• Develop Professional Skills: Gain hands-on experience in career research, design, and communication.
• Earn Recognition: Compete for awards in categories like “Most Innovative Career Path” and “Most Visually Engaging Poster.”

• Self-Enroll Deadline: Ongoing until September 21 2025
• Poster Submission Deadline: September 21, 2025
• Exhibit Date: October 2025 (Building 500)
How to Participate
1. Self-Enroll in the Canvas Showcase Course: Students can access all guidelines, templates, and resources via the self-enroll link:

2. Research a Career: Use tools like O*NET, LinkedIn, or the Bureau of Labor Statistics to dive deep into your chosen career.
3. Design a Professional Poster: Use platforms like Canva, DALL-E, or Adobe to create a stunning 22” x 28” poster that presents your findings.
Awards and Recognition
All submitted posters will be displayed during the exhibit, and participants will have a chance to compete for awards in the following categories:
• 🏅 Most Innovative Career Path
• 📊 Best Use of Research & Data
• 🎨 Most Visually Engaging Poster
• 🤯 Most Surprising Career Insights
Award-winning posters will be recognized in class, on social media, and at the showcase!
Faculty Participation
Faculty members are encouraged to promote this event in their classes and offer students extra credit for participating. Detailed faculty resources are available to guide students through the process.
